Adur Sociables 2010
On 11 April Adur Petanque Club hosted the second Sussex Sociaboules of 2010 when
45 members of Adur, Handcross, Crowborough and Cuckmere petanque clubs enjoyed
a pleasant day’s friendly competition on one of the first balmy days of the year.
Results were as under:
Best of 0 wins: Andrew Andrews (Cuckmere PC) (–24)
Best of 1 wins: Tom Waldron (Crowborugh PC)(+1)
Best of 2 wins: Tilde Waldron (Crowborough PC) (+9)
Best of 3 wins: Keith Baker (Handcross PC) (+16)
Joint Best of 4 wins: Nigel Sibbring (Handcross PC) & Brian Marshall (Adur PC) (+ 24)
The overall winner was Yvonne de Jonquieres of Adur
who was the only person to achieve 5 wins on the day, with plus 17 points.
